START Canada is building one Employability Score Platform for web and mobile. Assessment, career programs, professional evidence, events, and verification live in the same product because people rarely work on those things in isolation.
The web and mobile experiences follow the same connected journey, so a learner can move between assessment, preparation, professional evidence, and self-check work without treating them as separate products.
Start with assessments and Employability Score
Assessments and Employability Score help a person work out what they already know and where they need more practice. A library of 10,000+ assessment questions supports focused review across technical, business, and professional topics.
The score is useful when it leads to a decision. A learner might choose one skill to practise, gather better evidence for a target role, or review progress after completing a project. It is not a hiring verdict.
Connect gaps with bootcamps and events
Career Readiness Bootcamps and events give learners a place to work on the gaps they find. Programs may cover machine learning, artificial intelligence, data visualization, professional profile development, job-search strategy, and project work.
StartJobs.ca supports the bootcamp and event experience. The Employability Score Platform also lists these events, so participation and learning stay connected to the same career-readiness journey. Program dates and topics can change by session.
Build professional proof in the same application
The Professional Profile and Authenticity Certificate organize a resume, credentials, achievements, assessment results, available verification information, and a self-introduction.
That structure gives a candidate more room than a resume alone. The candidate still decides which employer-facing evidence to share, and the reader still decides what matters for the role.
Review hiring information before it becomes urgent
Self Check Verification helps candidates review screening information that may come up during hiring, such as criminal-record, employment, social-media, driving, or credit checks. Candidates can confirm details and prepare context before questions arrive.
Self Check answers a different question from an assessment. One reviews information that may appear during hiring. The other helps a person understand skills and progress. Keeping both in the same application makes preparation easier without pretending they measure the same thing.
Use the platform from the point that makes sense
The four experiences form a useful path: assess, prepare, build professional proof, then review and share relevant information. Real careers are less tidy. Someone may start with a bootcamp event, update a profile first, or return to an assessment after several weeks of practice.
The important part is that each step connects to the same platform and the same professional story.
