Who writes and reviews the site
Website articles use START Canada Team as the named author. The team also reviews product and company pages before publication. We keep the team byline because the work often draws on product, program, and website knowledge rather than one person's view.
What we check
We compare product descriptions with the current website and available product information. We check names, links, dates, product status, and statements about how a feature works. We try to separate practical guidance from a product claim so a reader can tell which is which.
Status words matter. If a product is in beta, planned, or waiting on a store submission, we say so. We do not present a beta feature as a public launch. When an article discusses career readiness, it should not promise employment or turn an assessment result into a hiring decision.
Sources and public claims
Product claims should come from current product information or records the team can check. A claim based on an outside source should name or link that source when it would help a reader verify the point. We remove unsupported specifics instead of making them sound certain.
Updates and corrections
We update pages when a product status, workflow, date, or link changes. A substantial article revision should carry an updated date. Small spelling or formatting fixes may not need a new date because they do not change the meaning.
If you find an error, use the contact page. Include the page address, the text that appears wrong, and any source that helps us check it. The START Canada Team will review the correction and update the page when the evidence supports a change.
